"The Revelator"

Inspired by Blind Willie Johnson and his gospel blues song "John The Revelator" about John of Patmos, author of the Book of Revelation. A portion of that book focuses on the opening of the seven seals and the resulting apocalyptic events. 

We were encouraged to create a piece inspired by the number seven: 

"...Seven angels are thus given seven bowls of God's wrath, each consisting of judgements full of the wrath of God. These seven bowls of God's wrath are poured out on the wicked and the followers of the Antichrist after the sounding of the seven trumpets..."

Mi pieza para "Cover The Cover", la próxima exposición de Susanita's Little Gallery.  Ésta vez la cuestión era versionar una portada de un disco clásico introduciendo elementos de alguna serie de televisión infantil. Yo he elegido el "Frankenchrist" de los Dead Kennedys, con esa Shriners parade (no sé a qué se dedica esta gente, pero he de reconocer que alucino con su puesta en escena) y a Morocco Mole, personaje que me encanta de The Secret Squirrel Show (aquí el Inspector Ardilla). A partir del 10 de Junio a la venta aquí y el 16 inauguración de la exposición física en el Lunch Box & Tiki Room, C/Barco 8 Madrid.
